Notice of Annual General Meeting and Elections

We would like to notify members that BISI’s 92^nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on:

Wednesday 19^th November 2025, 6 pm, at the British Academy

The following individuals will be stepping down from Council, after serving two full terms:

• Dr Renad Mansour

The BISI Council seeks to ensure a balance of professional skills and academic expertise reflecting its remit. Council members identify potential nominees and also welcome nominations from BISI members.

The following Council members have agreed to stand for re-election after serving one full three-year term:

• Mr Daniel Lowe (The British Library)
• Dr Jon Taylor (The British Museum)

The following BISI Members have been nominated for Council and will stand for election:

• Dr John MacGinnis (McDonald Institute for Archeological Research)

The Annual Report and Accounts are in production and will be mailed to all Members. If you do not receive a copy by 19 November, you can access an electronic version on the BISI website here.

Fully paid members for 2025 can take part in nominations and voting at the BISI Council Elections.
