Annual General Meeting 2024

Notice of Annual General Meeting and Elections

We would like to notify members that BISI’s 91^st Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on:

Wednesday 13^th November 2024, 6 pm, at the British Academy

The following individuals will be stepping down from Council, after serving two full terms:

• Professor Paul Collins
• Dr Erica Hunter
• Mr Frank Baker

The BISI Council seeks to ensure a balance of professional skills and academic expertise reflecting its remit. Council members identify potential nominees and also welcome nominations from BISI members.

The following Council members have agreed to stand for re-election after serving one full three-year term:

• Dr Eva Miller (University College London)
• Dr Noorah Al Gailani (The British Museum)
• Dr Mary Shepperson (University of Liverpool)

The following BISI Members have been nominated for Council and will stand for election:

• Mrs Joan Porter MacIver (retd)
• Dr Ellen McAdam (Honorary Research Fellow, University of Birmingham)

The Annual Report and Accounts are in production and will be mailed to all Members. If you do not receive a copy by 13 November, you can access an electronic version on the BISI website here.

Fully paid members for 2024 can take part in nominations and voting at the BISI Council Elections.
