NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the 90th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of The British Institute for the Study of Iraq (BISI) will be held at the Khalili Lecture Theatre, SOAS, 10 Thornhaugh Street, London, WC1H 0XG on Wednesday 8 November 2023, 6.00pm for members to:
Council Nominations and Elections 2023
At BISI’s 90th Annual General Meeting (AGM) – Wednesday 8 November 2023 – no individuals will be stepping down from Council.
The BISI Council seeks to ensure a balance of professional skills and academic expertise reflecting its remit. Council members identify potential nominees and welcome nominations from BISI members. Council comprises a total of twelve elected persons and the Council may co-opt onto the Council up to three further persons who are Members of the Institute.
No Council members will be standing for re-election as all terms are in progress.
The following BISI members have been nominated for Council and will stand for election:
