Media enquiries

BISI Council Members can provide expertise and specialist knowledge to journalists reporting on Iraq’s heritage, and who need factual information on the culture and history of Iraq, especially in the area of archaeology.

BISI has assisted numerous media outlets with stories and features on Iraq’s cultural heritage, including the BBC, the Daily Telegraph, the Guardian, the Times, the New York Times, Al Jazeera and Levant TV.

Contact

In the first instance, media enquiries should be directed to BISI’s Administrator who is available on Monday-Thursday only at bisi@britac.ac.uk/ 020 7969 5274 (voicemail).  The Administrator will field your enquiry to appropriate members of BISI’s Council.

In the absence of the Administrator, you can find the contact details of many of our Council Members on their departmental web-pages or in Who’s Who.
